This website page, entitled "M1 Garand Restoration Parts," is being offered to help you finish your restoration project. As we acquire more components, additional parts will be added from time to time.
Most new collectors begin M1 collecting by restoring the
rifle they already own to its original configuration of parts. It is my opinion that there is no better way
to learn the important details of Garand collecting. Your knowledge of Garands will be benefited in several ways by
restoring your M1: first, you will gain hands on knowledge that cannot be
learned from books, secondly, you will develop a better understanding of finish
colors and wear patterns that will aid you in identifying other restorations
from original rifles. This is of great
help if you later seek to add an original rifle to your collection. It will help you identify original from
restored.
All
parts will be hand selected for you by Scott Duff. You learned
what components you need to finish your rifle from Scott’s books, now he will
help you finish your restoration project.
