Colt, M1991 Government Model Series 80, Springfield Armory Bicentennial Commemorative Pistol, s/n SFLDA0604 (Previously owned by the Superintendent of Springfield Armory National Historic Site). This is a NIB commercial Colt pistol made in 1994 in commemoration of the bicentennial of Springfield Armory. The slide is marked in gold inlay with Springfield Armory, the crossed cannon Ordnance emblem, and 200^th Anniversary. This pistol has a very interesting and desirable provenance. It was owned by the Superintendent of Springfield Armory National Historic Site during the Armory’s bicentennial year. A Letter of Authentication from the Superintendent is included in the sale. - $1,195
