FOR AOL MEMBERS
IF YOUR ISP IS AOL...
...you may not be able to view updates when they are posted.
This is due to AOL's aggressive caching of web pages. When you think
you are viewing scott-duff.com, you are actually viewing a cached
copy from AOL's servers from sometime in the past.
POSSIBLE CORRECTIVE ACTION
We are not AOL "members," so we cannot test this remedy. However, I
suspect that if use AOL software to access web pages you are actually
being redirected to AOL's cache. If you install and use a standalone
browser such as MS Internet Explorer, Netscape or Opera you may be
able to bypass the AOL cache.
IF YOU ARE AN AOL MEMBER AND CANNOT SEE THE UPDATE...
...it's an AOL problem. Alas, we at scott-duff.com have no control
over what AOL does. Contact AOL for corrective actions.

I access the page with both AOL and also Microsoft Explorer. When I
use AOL I make sure that I refresh the page several times in this way
it forces the cache to be updated with the latest version. Whenever
I access Scott's website with AOL I always use the refresh before
accepting it as the latest page. Hope this helps.

I got your earlier note about AOL and went immediately to Microsoft
Internet Explorer to access the Scott Duff website as you suggested.
I was successful in doing this, but I was too late to buy the NPM M1
Carbine that was on the list. Thank you for your help. It was right
on target. I am ticked at AOL, though.
